Chess Online Playing

About the game

Chess Online Playing is plain classic chess in a cleaner, modern look. You can take on real players around the world, test yourself against a computer, or start a private room and invite a friend.

A match ends when a king is checkmated or the clock runs out. Wins push your rating up, so it shows how you are improving. The computer has levels from beginner to master, which makes it easy to pick a fair fight. Two people can also share one phone in classic mode. If the default look gets dull, Themes changes the pieces and the board.

How to play

  • Tap Play in the main menu, then choose online, computer or friend.
  • Tap your piece, then tap the square you want it to move to.
  • Win by checkmating the enemy king, or when the opponent's time runs out.
  • Open Themes to change the look under Shape type and Board type.
