About the game
Backrooms: Exit Protocol 0 puts you inside Level 0 with a keycard to find and puzzles to solve before the exit opens. A monster patrols the same rooms, so you search, think and move while keeping an ear out.
Walking is slow and careful. You check corners, crouch when you want to stay low, and save the sprint for when something is on your tail. The puzzles ask for attention while the monster asks for distance, and juggling both is where the pressure comes from.
How to play
- W A S D or the arrow keys move, Space jumps, Shift runs and C crouches.
- E interacts with objects, R drops an item and Tab opens the menu.
- Hold the right mouse button to zoom the camera.
- On a phone, use the joystick to move, the on-screen buttons to jump, run, crouch, drop and interact, and the right side of the screen to turn the camera.
