About the game
Mahjong Classic is a solitaire puzzle played with a field of stacked chips. Pick two chips carrying the same symbol and both leave the board. Flowers go together, and so do seasons, whichever flower or season you pick. A chip only counts as free when nothing sits on top of it, so the order you clear in matters.
Every layout is dealt at random and is built so that it can always be finished, which means a lost round comes from a pairing choice rather than an impossible deal. Familiar shapes such as Turtle, Fort, Crab, Spider, Cat and Dragon turn up, and you can return to a favorite field as many times as you want. Undo, Hint and Spotlight wait at the side for the moment you get stuck.
How to play
- Click a free chip, then click a chip with the same symbol to remove the pair.
- Flowers match other flowers, and seasons match other seasons.
- A chip stays locked while another chip covers it.
- Undo returns your last pair, Hint points out a pair, and Spotlight makes free chips easier to find.
